Hello all,
We've been looking at Barcelona, Spain as a possible place to visit and/or live.
Since I've never been there myself, I wondered if any of you had personal experiences you could share with me.
Positive, negative - all's fair.
Any input greatly appreciated :) ;) :D

I've never been to Spain so I can't offer you any help there...I am curious though. If you don't mind my asking, why Barcelona?
I was really hoping this was about Freddie Mercury.
But since it's not and I've never been to Spain (THANKS DUBYA!! Literally. I had a trip to Spain booked that was cancelled as direct result of his bullshit overseas) I'm afraid I don't have much input.

My wife has a friend and business associates there who really likes it.
And Spain has a resident visa program we're looking into.
Catalonia is a pleasant area, similar to southern California in climate. I can't say much about Barcelona itself, though, having only driven through it. Reminded me a bit of LA. ;)

I don't know what "it" is, but "they" say that whatever it is that they know how to use... the conquistadores learned from the Latinas, and took it back to Spain... :P

Barcelona has the same number of syllables as Hallelujah. So sing the Hallelujah Chorus but substitute "Barcelona". It's quite uplifting.
