Had some pancakes with Golden Syrup a couple of hours ago and a couple of VB stubbies since.

I might have bangers and mash and cabbage with diced onion, melted butter, perpper and salt with just a pinch of lemon pepper. That makes the old cabbage taste more than halfway decent.
I might have a touch of mustard with the bangers. Dunno yet.

Don't get upset...........you'll have to wait until tomorrow before I let you know and that's that!

Few nations have been so poor as to have but one god. Gods were made so easily, and the raw material cost so little, that generally the god market was fairly glutted and heaven crammed with these phantoms.

Bangers and mash out of the question.

Made up one of my favourite dishes. Fluffy boiled rice [boiled in salted water] drained and washed. pinch of lemon pepper.
Drain can of mackerel or salmon and drink juice and do same with can baby peas or sliced beans. Put fish in bowl with rice and chop finely, then add peas or beans and mix in.

If you start with 1.5 cups long grain rice it will serve 4 easily.

Tasty and nourishing.

For breakfast this morning.........fried eggs in a wholemeal bread sandwich with a stubby of VB.

One of the best inventions ever is the non stick rice cooker.  I wash the rice before cooking only, and I will never boil rice in water again.  Oh and you should have put that canned fish residue in the "What Are You Drinking Right Now? " thread, though in the interests of good taste I hope it doesn't catch on.

A celibate clergy is an especially good idea, because it tends to suppress any hereditary propensity toward fanaticism.

I loved when Bush came out and said, "We are losing the war against drugs." You know what that implies? There's a war being fought, and the people on drugs are winning it.
