Title: Kony 2012 campaign: Savior or Scam?
Post by: not your typical... on April 25, 2012, 04:39:28 AM
Since it hasn't been beat to death here, ladies and gentlemen, I present you with a question on the 'Kony 2012' Campaign. I'm sure that by now, more people have heard about the half-hour long campaign ad to stop African warlord Joseph Kony, but if you haven't got around to it yet, here's the vid.

And though this was a trending topic on, quite possibly every social network you can think of, not all are in support of it. Critics did a bit of digging on the subject and quite a bit more was brought to light about this whole Kony ordeal.

Personally, my thoughts are pretty aligned with Charlie Brooker's, but I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions. :)

I see it as a total scam. What is presented in the video is information that is really old. Currently, Kony is in hiding. This video could have made Kony come back out. Also, the organization itself is pretty odd. Most of the money goes to just running the organization. Most of the money does not go to the cause itself.
