Title: Canada
Post by: Ecurb Noselrub on December 25, 2014, 03:00:50 PM
Not sure where this quote came from, but it's funny.

?Canada could have enjoyed: English government, French culture, and American know-how. Instead it ended up with: English know-how, French government, and American culture.?

It's funny, but when you look closely at it, you can see the holes. :)

Neil comes from there so I have a positive bias.
I like their coins, they've got beavers on some.
I liked D'Juliet, you bastards bored her away.
Daughter 2 did her world champs thing there.
They don't play cricket, something went wrong.
Should be bros but are more like distant cousins.

Our parliamentary system is based on the British system of government, and we even have a (largely ceremonial) representative of the Queen - the Governor-General. *stomps gleefully all over your joke*

I'm sure there are holes and exaggerations in the joke.  I'm not even sure where it came from.
