He's much funnier than when I was just reading through the script!

So, how do you handle your vacation time?

Eat, sleep, poop, lift, wash, rinse, repeat.

Good Article Joe, and I like the Raymond Chandler quote at the end, was not familiar with that, but I like it.

Your article brought to mind a lot of what I read concerning the struggles of writers online to get not only published, but actually paid for their work.

This article by Alyssa Royse is a couple years old (I follow her on Instagram), but I think illustrates the point of artists not getting paid in leu of "Exposure". (Don't know if you deal with this is in the VO industry or not, but she's not the only writer/blogger I read who complains about this problem)

For me Art is important in our lives as anything else that sustains us,... as necessary as breathing itself. Anyway I'm not sure who wrote this, but I keep it on my desktop as a reminder to try and be creative when I can.

"I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you're wonderful, and don't forget to make some art...write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can"

Thanks - Sounds like Alyssa goes through many of the same scammy offers. I know a few writers. It's hard to make it, for sure. I'm glad I frequent many of the news sources she suggests. I'd rather go to sites that pay the writers for their hard work.

Cool end quote - is that by her?

Yes very funny indeed, and I love the dinosaur one, very intense and serious... 8)
