Geez, some of you inhabitants of the Americas are sadly lacking in some of the more refined areas of knowledge.
I suppose you could pound dough with it, not much good for rolling though.

No question about it.  I had to hit quote and see the description of the pic to know it was a cricket thingy (bat?).  I guess you can keep it, then.

It is in fact a cricket bat. One of the weapons of choice for smashing the heads off of zombies.

The Asmo's weapon of choice is... An Asmo. With a warhammer. A very methodical zombie-bashing machine, that.  :D

Visions of zombies hopping around clutching their toes only to fall over and have their heads caved in!

Yes. First, a resourceful Asmo would stab them in the toe with the warhammer's spike. The  the hopping zombies trip and fall, and The Asmo moves in for the kill and hacks furiously at their head with the hammer part, chanting "die, die, die, die, die!"

I'll join you with an all-American baseball bat.  Batter up for a good game of "see how far the zombie's head can fly".

I'd take the cricket bat as it's heavier and has edges. But a BBB would be a reasonable substitute.

Yes they are heavy. But they have a rather spindly shaft that would be possibly prone to brakage.
