xXx: Return of Xander Cage was was so bad it was like a caricature of Hollywood action movies, without even trying to be a caricature.
Any bad films you've seen recently?
I seen one called Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny. It was...Christmas Themed? It's part horror, part hippie, 100% train wreck.

I watched bits and pieces of that when I was in my teens, didn't think it was particularly funny either. Definitely not one of Leslie Nielsen's best films. ::)
How could I forget Battlefield Earth (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0185183/?ref_=nv_sr_1)? That movie was atrociously bad but I loved it, I must have watched it about 3 or 4 times or so...don't ask why. :P
For those who don't know, it's based on a novel by L. Ron Hubbard, the creator of Scientology. Yep, Scientology.
I mostly watch bad films on MST3k or RiffTracks.

I watch rifftracks all the time. They play on this tv-like streaming site on the weekends. If you go there during the day it's anime and cartoons, but about 1 am est is when the riffs start. Of course there is a pst but nobody really uses that unless they missed a show they wanted to watch. They also have MST3k if you are willing to stay up that late.

Well Recusant, the list of bad movies grows, for when you're in that inexplicable mood. ;)
Caveman (Ringo Starr and Dennis Quaid) and Strange Brew (the McKenzie Brothers) are both spectacularly bad films that are intended to be bad. They remind me of a few drunk dudes getting together and saying "let's make a movie".
They sound like the type of films you can only watch while drunk... :drink:
May I nominate a reasonably entertaining film to this category for making me cringe at their depiction of Bose-Einstein Condensate?
Spectral (2016) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2106651/)
Nympomaniac. I only watched the first part. BF watched the second and says it's no better. Basically a girl sitting a stranger's bed after getting jumped in an alley recounting all dudes she's fucked. There's a lot of fly fishing allegory from him that you can tell is supposed to be symbolic, but it's just weird.

It's so bad that it's like the Dark Side of films. You will never enjoy anything again, and once you start down that path, forever will it dominate your destiny.
There's the Adam Sandler film Anger Management which is OK because it's got Jack Nicholson in it.
There's the movie Paul which is ++good and it has Seth Rogan in it but you don't have to look at him.
I think Russel Crowe is OK, he didn't do a bad job of Jack Aubrey, the water diviner and Noah weren't good but I think he's done other good movies.
Ben Stiller, but there's something about Mary and Zoolander, ahhh you're just envious.
Will Ferrell was in an Austin Powers movie.
Vince Vaughn bugs me, the smug fck, why isn't he on a list?
How can you write off "book movies" 1984 was OK, it had John Hurt (who we haven't yet mourned) in it.
Trollhunters, I think I've seen that but thought it was a documentary, Box Trolls is ++good.

That could be the case. :notsure: High School me was interested in other things that did not include slow paced, low resolution movies. It also didn't have Leonard DiCaprio in it, which negatively affected my opinion. :P

This may not be the film you think it is. I only made it through 30 minutes. The dog is not the star. It's the story of the dysfunctional families it gets passed between. It is supposed to be a comedy. People with a very sick sense of humour may get a few giggles. I don't think the reviewers actually bothered to watch it.

Yeah, I feel like that about all movies and TV. Though some tend to be more enjoyable by choosing less common clichés, nothing is original any more.
