Since I couldn't help directly I sent "Thoughts and Prayers" to the HAF staff,...looks like it worked. 8)
:lol:

Asmodean allowed me to enter his Facebook dungeon while he worked. It was thrilling!

I can't find that anymore.  Can we get it back?

I miss the little YouTube button, it was so cute...sigh I miss the good ole days here at HAD, now it's all square angles, and neat little rows of percent-encoding. :'(

Thanks for all the work, guys. One question: when I try to upload my avatar, it gives the following message.

An Error Has Occurred!
The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.

Are there restrictions now on the location or format of avatars?

This is a known glitch. Asmo to sort out over the next few days.
Thank you or highlighting this.

Thanks, Tank. It must be divine intervention, but I see that Mags still has an avatar that shows.

Ok, I've fixed the issue with inhouse avatars, but it does seem like a few, my own much-lamented Gray Blob included, were not re-built properly. Dang. Trouble is, I can't actually find them where they were supposed to be on the old site, in backups or... Anywhere. It's a bit weird.

This concerns 34 inhouse avatars. I will see what I can do, but I suppose it's just as easy to reupload.

Uploading of avatars should work OK now. Some absolute path related issues there.

Presumably because her avatar is linked to an external URL.

Correct. All external avatars, and those internal which were where they were expected to be, are unaffected.

I refer to the Post-Migration thread in Forum Suggestions;
