Good read. I feel like, with some minor modifications, that that advice would work with most professions.
Always question all authorities because the authority you don't question is the most dangerous... except me, never question me.

Thanks... Yeah, it's in many areas. My wife's a lawyer and saw a lot of similarities...

Many voice actors take a tablet into the booth to read and markup their copy.
But what if you could run your entire studio on a tablet?

That's interesting.

I've been trying to get more of my stuff onto one portable device. Haven't been able to yet though.

Yeah, that's why I bought this new tablet. My old one was slow and didn't have enough storage space.

The USB-C OTG was an unexpected bonus, but it really adds a lot.

Joe, have you considered reviewing bad voice acting clips? Those are always funny to listen to but also having a professional commentary would make them hilarious.

I haven't done a video or audio commentary - that could be a hoot!

I did write a post about some of my pet peeves:

Acting would appear to be risky business Joe.  I am confident that there are superb aspirants of the art who never ever get a chance to display their talent.

On the other hand there are those that have precious little talent who make it big in show biz. Go figure....But maybe that is a matter of observer taste which constantly puzzles me.  Life is no fair sometimes.

Indeed... "Fair" in the arts is hard to come by. Yet, with hard work, training, and determination, one can achieve a modicum of success... maybe ;-)
