New atheist here...

I'm a recent convert to atheism (on Christmas eve, actually.)  I'd been agnostic for a while but the family I'm living with (Christians) wanted me to go to mass on Christmas eve.  So I did and uhhh... I thought 'These people are out of their minds!' and decided right then and there such a silly fairytale couldn't possibly be true.  Plus the priest as all being less then welcoming and whatnot, railing against 'non-believers' in a hate-filled gospel.  Jesus is the reason for the season and all who don't believe were basically evil.  I don't remember the details.  Anyway... sorry for the long rant, I just wanted to get my story out.   :verysad:
