Bad Penny II

Take my advice, don't listen to me.

That looks like an incredibly loud bird when it gets riled.

Na, they fill the air with what they are.
No, it's not loud, it is total, all, everywhere.
Take my advice, don't listen to me.

Not mine, but I wish that he was. He's the toughest dog I've ever known and he will run himself into the ground to be by his people.

This was an attempt to catch an eagle yesterday with my not very good waterproof camera.
Not much wind so eagle just sits.
Was sitting there again today.

Take my advice, don't listen to me.

This is my pal Snackety.

All other birds flee upon my approach.
I don't want them to, I feel bad about them wasting their energy.
Why do they flee in the direction I'm travelling and necessitate another unfortunate interspecies interaction?
Anyway, Snackety isn't like other birds, she/he stands her/his ground, defending it with snackety snacks of her (I'm going with her) impressively pointy beak and sinuous movements of her very excellent neck, wings spread, you know she means business.
Take my advice, don't listen to me.

Cormorants have a pugnacious nature because they can't fly after fishing. They are unusual in that they have lost the oil that keeps their feathers dry. Thus they have to sit around and let them dry before they can fly.
