Friday my husband was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Today (Monday) he was supposed to be admitted to the hospital for three days for IV furosemide, which is supposed to remove the fluid buildup in his body and ease the strain on his heart. His doctor did not write up the orders correctly, so he is in the emergency room getting his IV. No one knows if he will be admitted or not. I may have to go pick him up later. I'm not really sure how I feel at the moment.

So sorry to hear that, Velma. :( Hoping for the best.

Since that is part of my condition I can understand your concerns, Velma. I can only hope the medical people get it right for the both of you.

Tomorrow is precious, don't ruin it by fouling up today.

You know, now that I think about it, it can also mean, "a lot."  :notsure:
It still wouldn't make sense: "Estoy mucho feliz." "I am a lot happy."
You could say, "Yo siento mucha felicidad." I feel a lot of happiness.

How are you, Velma? How's your husband? Was he admitted? I hope you're both feeling better today.  :console:

He wasn't admitted. He did get one IV treatment in the emergency room. He's doing quite well. I had to go pick him up about around 9 pm. I have come down with some sort of upper respiratory illness (cough, fever, sinus congestion, but oddly no nasal congestion). He's in better shape than I am at the moment.  :i'mok:

Thanks all. I'm feeling a bit better after sleeping off and on all day and taking cold medicine. If I'm not better tomorrow, I plan on seeing a doctor.
