There are ever so many saints in our lovely little Catholic Church!  http://www.catholic.org/saints/stindex.php

In religion class I always try to throw in a little something about the saint of the day!

Who is my favorite saint? It is Saint Francis of course!:  http://armondscavophotography.com/product/saint-francis-of-assisi/

He was a kindly soul who loved animals the poor! Someone who loves Poor People and Animals? If that doesn't scream "saint" I don't know what does..

Please let us all know!

your flue clean."  - Ecurb Noselrub

"I'd be incensed by your impudence were I not so impressed by your memory." - Siz

Magdalena

Let's think about the logic, shall we?

You're a nun and you're in an atheist forum asking who our favorite saint is...

Lucifer

I don't think Lucifer is technically a saint, tho perhaps he should be.

  You're welcome.

Ok then, if not Lucifer, I'll go with Val Kilmer.

Oh, I'd go with Lucifer! :computerwave:

Otherwise Joan of Arc. Most probably suffered from a psychotic disorder, but badass.   8)

Yes, it is odd, isn't it.

SisterAgatha, you do realise that sainthood in general means not very much to an atheist and non-Catholics, right?

Not only is the RC a world wide religious industry, with its own schools, banking system, government, diplomatic and ambassadorial system, soveriegn territory etc etc, but I cannot believe that any true catholic with knowledge and intelligence would use such a phrase.

Sister Agatha, you've GOT to be jerking our collective chain.

It's almost like she's being sarcastic. :notsure:

So is mine, but hers is a unique account, unlikely a sock puppet. Also, it is very likely she really is affiliated with a religious school. If she really is a nun and a teacher, I can't say.

Possibly. There does seem to be a degree of naivité to her posts.

I'm disappointed there's no new HAF nun.

When in doubt why not just ask "are you really, really really a nun?"
The "really really" bit is important as it removes the opportunity for weaselling.
Undisputedly a direct lie deserves time in the Asmo designed HAF oubliette Gnnnn.

There are nuns that are better humans by my definition than me.

Catholics run Phinx's hospital, other hospitals, schools, oldie homes, no casinos as far as I know, maybe bingo....

Fuck history, it's history and I find it increasingly difficult to recall.
I don't like the Catholic stance on fucking control, birth control, marriage control, death control, they are rather controlling.

I'm going to prey for a real HAF nun.

Take my advice, don't listen to me.
