Dead at 71.  One of the great keyboardists of rock.

First time I heard a Moog.

Heard them live in San Antonio in 1971.

Not sure how many times I tripped to this one:

The old school is heading to the grave yard in ever increasing numbers  :(

I think I must be near the point where more than half of my music is by dead guys.

This Emerson wasn't one of them though.

I have one greatest hits album of E.L.P. Only like 2 tracks on it ("Lucky Man" and "Fanfare for the Common Man"). So for me it not so much of a great loss.

One of the local stations here in Detroit (Classic Rock type) has been playing ELP non-stop in his honor.

But man Bruce, I haven't heard this song in a long, long time. Wow! Did that bring back some memories.

Bathing was the style until the Middle Ages, and the church told us it was sinful to wash away God's dirt. So people were sewn into their underwear in October, and they popped out in April. John Goldman
