It is only a few minutes after noon here. It is already 93 F (34 C). The predicted high is 97 F (36 C). I'm not sure I want to leave the house.

It is summer in central Floridabut we have not had more than 91 F.  Nights average about 72F.  So far so good.  It has been tolerable but one still needs to refrain from exposure to the mid day sun

At some point, I do need to go grocery shopping. Fortunately, it is nothing urgent, so I can wait until it cools off a bit. I am glad that most of the grocery stores around here are open until 11 pm or midnight.
