My prediction is they won't be in business long.

I think you're right - They have other locations, so it may be just this one. (it's fairly new)

Wow, some very cool tracks (though I didn't care much for the one from The Trilogy). Thanks, joeactor! Nadine Jansen's intrigued me, and I looked around. From a listing on Marian McPartland's show from NPR:

QuoteJansen was known for her proficiency on both piano and flugelhorn, and she often played the two at the same time, periodically pausing to sing a few bars.

Just out of curiosity, I also looked up The Trilogy. There's a write-up of the album from weirdomusic.com.

Thanks for the extra info, Rec!

Yes, I thought Nadine Jansen seemed very gifted. Some of the other tracks I've got show more of her range and singing...

That was fun Joe thanks for posting. I listened to these this morning here at work.

I enjoyed the "Hose Pipe Twist", by the Billy Fane Trio, and "Just for Fun, Just for Friends",by Gary Schneider reminds me of the early radio theatre music, which I still like to listen to occasionally.

Billy Fane's music has a very "live, in the moment" feel. Like he's making it up as he goes. Cool sound...

I like your list, joeactor. My list will probably look like yours, except for the words, 'pet' and 'stretch.' I'm not into pets, or sssstttrrrrreeetching.  :-\

It only took me 50 years to learn the value of stretch ;-)
