They've added some new ones since last year -- my favorite:
Quite enjoyed that. Although I have never heard that pronunciation of the word 'maths' before! Seriously! :puke:

Probably an American thing, tho we usually leave the "s" off.

I think it was more likely an example of lack of talent on the part of the lyricist. :)
Surely if it was an American pronounciation then "paths" should have rhymed with "maths" as we Brits say it, short "a". Not "parths" and "marths".
Poetic licence but the wrong way round?
I did wonder if the choir was German.
The lyricist for most of these songs is Middle Eastern (or at least he has a Middle Eastern name), tho I don't know if that would affect anything. Maybe if the singers had a particular accent? Who sticks Rs into English words wantonly (other than, apparently, the Germans)? I know zero about such things -- I don't even hear the difference.

;D Not even from someone trying to parody a posh English accent?
Use of the plural term for mathematics is common among mathematicians, particularly British and Oz practitioners. It is the plural form because math has many different disciplines. Another quirk is to refer to "the calculus" I do not know why the word the is part of the description.
It may be enough to say that math geeks have their own ways of doing, or saying, things
This is the first SSoP I heard last year, and still my absolute favorite:
This one is for Hermes.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBsQOz5sGcg
And this one is for xSP.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k99bMtg4zRk
Sandy, the space station one is my favorite too. There is a serious emotional content there. I am sad that so few of us seem to get it.
^^^

I am out of the loop BP. Who is Dara O'Briain? My Naivete and other absences of awareness herewith duly acknowledged. What the hell, I am only trying to learn.

Dara O'Briain (http://www.daraobriain.com/) bit of a polymath TV science presenter and comedian.
Perhaps we should introduce our members to "The infinite monkey cage" as well, this is the "Mind and brain" edition:

The Infinite Monkey Cage is great.
Thank you. I fear that the homily; too soon old and too late smart applies to me to a grater extent........
