I found a doozy.  I know this is Landover Baptist, but I can swear I've heard fundies actually make this argument:

Icarus beat me to it, one can only assume that theists never piss, crap, flush the loo, wash themselves, their clothes, their cars or water their lawns or gardens! Etc.

I don't know whether this thread is for non-facing slapping stuff from FB, but I did find this on FB and it deals in it's own way with religious absurdity.  I went on to YouTube to get the slightly longer version, and here it is:

Maybe the £1 would rather be caressed instead?

Dammit did those crafty Brits fix the posts so that only subscribers could read them?   I used to subscribe to the magazine, several years ago.  In this instance they recently hustled me to spend 12 dollars for 12 weeks of online news at the Economist.   I know that the sneaky bastards will try to extend the tickler subscription when it expires....most likely for a lot more than 12 dollars.  I must be vigilant.

Sorry if I referred you to something that was somehow unavailable without paying.   I am a bit naive about stuff like that, it would seem.

In any case it seems that the Chileans are losing their faith.  Catholics are regularly reverting to the protestant way and an alarming (to the clergy) number of them are becoming nones and/or outright atheists.  Chile is a relatively prosperous and stable nation. It is interesting to note that prosperity and education tends to upset religionists apple cart.

I guessed that was the subject of the item. Be interesting to know the indigene/immigrant ratio there compared to other S American countries. Perhaps some of their old beliefs will make a comeback!

Peace.  :levitate:

But I guess you're right. I don't want to be an Antichrist anymore. And I'd bet antichrist meetings would be rather dull, I mean, what would they talk about? The end of the world is near...again? ::)

Have fun Antichristing on Facebook!

You know, this is the sort of thing that really bugs me about religious types.  The idea that one cannot criticise anything about their favourite collection of ancient folk tales.  I'm sorry, but if someone in your holy book is a misogynistic paedophile, I'm going to call him a misogynistic paedophile.
