COPPA Registration (that thing where you have to say you are at least 13 years of age when registering) has been disabled.  It is a completely useless step and not a single person has sent in their parental permission form throughout the life of this forum.  I do not see why we need to require kids fill our a permission slip to post and only had COPPA active because I could not previously deactivate it.

The 6 or so member who were in the COPPA registered group have been sent emails letting them know they can simply activate their accounts and do not need to fill our any additional forms.  In all likelihood, the clicked on the wrong button and are adults anyway (common issue).

If you happen to have accidentally registered an account and got the COPPA email then just registered a different name to not have to deal with it, let me know so I can delete the mess up account.
