...find an internship? They don't have any at my school and I've looked online but that can take forever and I have precious time. If you haven't heard already, I'm trying to be a phd in neuroscience. I've only complete one college class for math in my entire school career.
Any help?
I don't know how things work over there but have you tried talking to a student advisor who can help you with this kind of extracurricular placement? That would be the easier way and gives you an air of credibility, sort of like having a recommendation.
It basically boils down to finding a professor or researcher who will be willing to accept a new, "green" intern in their lab. If you're unable to get some sort of recommendation you might have to spend some time surfing the web and sending emails out to prospective supervisors and hope that they answer. Since your undergraduate curriculum doesn't have much yet I would suggest you focus heavily on your letter of intent, and state in it that you're very interested in going to graduate school in neuroscience and that an internship would be an invaluable learning experience. Just keep in mind that most if not all lab supervisors are extremely busy people and might not have the time to read lengthy emails.
Yes SP I talked to two of them and thet both said they couldn't help me. So I spoke to my cousin who is also looking for an internship. Me him and you all came to the same conclusion.

Does it have to be a neuroscience lab at first? What about broadening your search to include labs specialising in psychology? It doesn't mean you have to settle, that way you can make the leap from there to a neuroscience lab in the future after having acquired more experience.
More options could mean a higher chance of someone saying 'yes'.

Right now it's an associate in science and hope to build that up to neuroscience.

It would be much easier that way. Trying to figure out if that's what I really want to do. If I take it up now, means less time wasted on other things.

That's why I'm taking the internship now. And it's not like 8 years is some big deal. Baby steps.
Most of these resources I posted below are for internships out in the industry, if you're hoping for something like an academic internship it's best to contact the departments or labs directly and ask. However, academic labs don't often offer internships (usually in the form of teaching assistants or research/lab assistants) to anyone outside of that school, so keep that in mind.
If you want to take a look into federal government internships in their facilities, they usually post those on USA Jobs (https://www.usajobs.gov/) and they may not be listed as an "internship" as they have several programs that focus on students such as the STEP program (https://www.benefits.gov/benefits/benefit-details/2702) where you work essentially full time as a government employee for a temporary period.
